How to draw the Red AngryBird using Photoshop?
Create a new layer and on this layer, create a circle mask
using the Elliptical Marquee tool.
Then hit SHIFT+F5 and choose color, select red, press OK.
Fill it with red too using the same technique.
Go to Layer>>> Layer style>>> Stroke. Put
the levels below.
The image looks like this.
Then create a layer above it. In this layer, we are going to
draw the eyes.
Create a small circle mask and fill it with white.
Go to LAYER>>> LAYER STYLES>>> STROKE. Put
the levels below.
Then Duplicate the layer and locate the circle on the right
portion, make it like this.
Merge the two eye layers. Then create a new layer above it,
create a circle mask smaller than the eye to make the iris. Fill it with black
using the same technique.
Duplicate the iris layer and arrange it on the other eye.
After arranging it, merge the two iris layers.
Create a new layer above the eye layer. In this layer, we
are going to create the eyebrow. First, create a V shape above the eye using
polygonal lasso tool. Use a ruler for a guide. See the image below.
Fill it with black. SHIFT+F5 then choose black.
After that, remove the guides. The eyebrow is done. Create a
new layer above the eyebrow, in this layer, we are now going to draw the beak.
First, we are going to create the upper beak using the polygonal lasso tool and
using the ruler as a guide. See the image below.
Fill it with yellow (I like yellow rather than the original
color which is yellow orange, but you can try it also). And Go to
LAYER>>> LAYER STYLE>>> STROKE. The color must be black and
see the image below.
Next, create a new layer to draw the lower beak. The lower
beak must be like this using polygonal lasso tool and guidelines as well.
Fill the selection with yellow and has the same stroke as
the upper beak has. Drag the lower beak layer after the upper beak. The upper
beak should be on the upper layer. Like this one.
Create a new layer below the eye layer. In this layer, we
are going to create the grey spots of the bird. Using the elliptical tool
create circle masks like this one below.
Then fill it with 50% gray, SHIFT+F5 >>> 50% gray.
Duplicate the grey spots layer. And go to EDIT>>>
TRANSFORM >>> FLIP HORIZONTAL. Then locate it on the right side of the
head.
Merge the two gray spots layer. Then create a new layer
behind the lower beak layer. Then do this below using elliptical lasso tool.
Fill it with this color #e2c4a8. SHIFT+F5 >>>
COLOR>>> set #e2c4a8.
Then put the layer behind the gray spots layer. And the
result is like this!
I put some styles and materials and ended with this:
Hope you like it!!!
