Adobe Photoshop Tutorials - Light Burst Vector

 

It's summer time! I always see some posters and tarps in the street and some malls. Then I used to see some light burst specially the sunburst. In this tutorial, I will give you guys a simple tip on how to create a light burst effect. Let's start....

 Create a 5x5 inches canvas.

Fill it with a Gradient Tool. Select the two colors you want to use.

Then Go to FILTER>>>DISTORT>>>WAVE.

Then set the values below.

Here is the result.

Then FILTER>>>DISTORT>>>POLAR COORDINATES.

Then set to RECTANGULAR to POLAR.

And here is the result.
